To promote team sprit and healthy competition, students in the school are allocated to four different houses:

Sahibzada Ajit Singh House
Red Colour
Sahibzada Jujhar Singh House
Maroon Colour
Sahibzada Fateh Singh House
Navy Blue Colour
Sahibzada Zorawar Singh House Green Colour
Games and co-curricular activities are organised on the basis of Inter-House Competitions.

Daily Home Work

The students are assigned daily home-work in the students diaries which maintain the record of their day to day progress The parents are requested to check-up their wards' diaries regularly so that they pay due attention to their work. In case the parents do not receive the report within a week of any test, they must contact the Principal immediately.

Weekly Terminal Tests

To lessen the burden of terminal tests on the students, weekly tests are conducted every Tuesday to inculcate the habit of regular study among the students. If Tuesday happens to be a holiday the tests are conducted on the next working day. These tests are compulsory for every student. For promotion to the next class the report will include 50% marks of their terminal tests. The position of the child in the final examination will be determined only if he/she has missed no terminal tests. The students who do not qualify in the final evaluation for promotion to the next class may be permitted to repeat the previous class if their conduct is satisfactory.

Visiting Hours

Parents can see the Principal regarding problems of their wards on all working days from 8.00 to 10.00 a.m. in summer and 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon in winter. If parents have any problem regarding their wards to be discussed with the teachers, they can meet them on the fourth Saturday of every month. In case of urgency, parents can meet the teacher on other Saturdays too, but only in the zero period with the permission of the Principal. No parent should try to bypass this procedure in the interest of proper functioning of the school. However, the parents are welcomed to discuss the problems of their wards with the Principal any day during fixed hours.
